Peggy Nadine Browning

     Peggy Nadine (Pollard) Browning, 67 of Carmi, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023. She was born on January 31, 1956, in Carmi, the daughter of Bill and Frances (Simmons) Pollard.  She  married Larry Lee Browning, and he preceded her in death in February, 2006. Peggy was a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed growing flowers and plants. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

     Peggy is survived her children, Billy  Browning of Carmi, IL, Jamie Browning of Carmi, IL, and Jimmy (Lisa) Browning of Carmi, IL; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Browning; grandchildren, Jacob Schneider, Brenna Browning, Gaven Browning and Matthew Browning, all of Carmi, IL; siblings, Terry (Jumesa) Pollard, Jenny Midkiff, Everett Pollard and Albert (Rachel) Pollard; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

     Graveside services and burial for Peggy Browning, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at North Maple Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Peggy's memory to her family in c/o Lisa Browning and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, and can be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821. Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
