Pattie McDonald

Pattie Davene McDonald, 77, of Carmi, passed away on June 17, 2021 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.  She was born on September 14, 1943, the daughter of  Howard David Attebury and Mary Ethel McDonald.  Davene worked as a beautician with Mary Beth Pollard for many years.  She attended Maunie United Methodist Church.

Davene is survived by her children, Scott (Nancy Gowdy) McDonald of Carmi IL., Kandi (Alan) Stocke of Arcadia, CA., and Mark (Gail) McDonald of Carrollton, KY.;  eleven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great  great-grandchild; siblings, Deborah (Wes) Trout of Crossville, IL., Melanie Stanelle of Shawneetown, IL., Leslie "Tinker" McWhirter of Carmi IL.; a sister-in-law, Debbie McWhirter of Carmi, IL. and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, whom she shared 22 years with,  Mike Dagley; two brothers, Jimmy and Kenneth McWhirter; and one sister, Jeannie Anderson.

Funeral Services for Pattie Davene McDonald will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021. at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi with burial at Marshall Ferry Cemetery in Rising Sun, IL. Family and Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at Stendeback Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in Davene's memory to the Linda E. White Hospice House, and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
