Patricia Chastain

Patricia Ann Chastain, 86, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at Linda E. White Hospice House on Friday night, January 19, 2018.  She was born on July 25, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Robert and Martha (Works) Rose.  She married George Chastain, Jr. on June 29, 1957 in Mt. Vernon and he survives.

Mrs. Chastain was an inspector at Kent Plastics for 38 years before her retirement.  She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, George, daughter, Latricia Ann "Puddy" (Brian) McCutchan, grandsons, Noah and Khristian, and brother, Richard "Dickie" (Winona) Rose.  She was preceded in death by brother, Robert Rose.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.  Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
