Patricia Buchanan, 64, of Fairfield, and formerly of Carmi, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 6:40 a.m. in Fairfield. She was born October 13, 1948 in Carmi, IL, the daughter of Weldon Dee and Pauline (McMinn) Leonberger. Patricia was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dee Ann and Stevie Jackson of Dixon, TN and Jessica and David W. Gwaltney of Norris City; two sons, Robert Louis "Bobby" McLain and Dale Ray McLain both of Carmi; a brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Juanita Leonberger of Fairfield; seven grandchildren, Danton Gwaltney, Tabatha Gwaltney and companion Josh Turner, Jacob McLain, Jaylin McLain, Williams Norwood, Vanessa Norwood and Charlie McLain; four great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Blace, Whittleigh and Tyler; former husbands, Robert "Jitter" McLain of Carmi and Ronald Buchanan of New Johnsonville, TN; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by two brothers, Butch and Roger Leonberger.
Graveside services and burial for Patricia Buchanan, 64, of Fairfield, formerly of Carmi will be Saturday, June 8, 2013 in White County Memorial Garden near Carmi following a visitation at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
