Pat Morris

Pat B. Morris, 67, of Carmi, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 10:35 p.m. at his home. He was born on April 18, 1948 in Carmi, the son of Garland Lesby and Audrey Beatrice (Campbell) Morris. Pat married Judith Kaye Roark on September 14, 1969. He operated Roark Oil Field Service and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Pat was a longtime member of the Carmi VFW and American Legion.

Pat is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Morris of Carmi; a sister, Brenda Smock of Carmi; nieces and nephews, Teresa (Rick) Belford of Carmi, Ericka (Mick) Mollenhauer of Mt. Carmel and Layne (Donnita) Smock of Carmi; and a sister-in-law, Ellen Morris of Carmi. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Terry Joe Morris; and a nephew, Terry Joe Morris, II.

Funeral services for Pat B. Morris, 67, of Carmi, will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Jeff Haley officiating. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden near Carmi. Friends may call on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
