Ora McGhee

Ora Phyllis McGhee 80 of Carmi, passed away Wednesday April 1, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville. She was born February 19, 1935 in Carmi, the daughter of Joseph and Thelma (Corwin) Ward.

Phyllis loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Bradley (Laurie) McGhee and Terry McGhee of Carmi and Ronnie (Elaine) McGhee of Evansville; four daughters, Teresa (David) Kemp, Tammy (Brad) Renshaw of Carmi, Becky (Perry) Ziegler of Evansville and Melinda (John) Rankin of Springerton; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Rebstock and Donna James of Carmi. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Betty Blazier and Sandy Zenner; brothers, Bill and Joe “Jr” Ward.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
