Nova Lee "Sherry" Blake, 51, of Carmi passed at 10:55 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center. She was born June 16, 1963 in Livingston, TN the daughter of Jerry and Lucille (Harvey) Martin. Sherry married Floyd Blake on April 8, 1982. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, aunt, sister and friend. Sherry was always the life of the party and had a smile that would light up a room. Sherry and Floyd had the love of a lifetime and were truly soul mates from the time they met until the very end. She will be deeply missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her. Her greatest rewards in life were her kids and grandbabies.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 32 years, Floyd of Carmi; her mother, Lucille Nevins of Livingston, TN; her four children, Amanda Blake and companion Virgil Graham, Lucy Dunham and husband Stephen and Mark Blake all of Carmi and Michael Blake and his wife Felicia of Grayville; three sisters, Elaine Garcia and Darla Martin both of Livingston, TN and Rita Martin of Illinois; five brothers, Roger Riley of Cookeville, TN, Ron Riley of Nashville, TN, Timmy Martin of Illinois, Dickie Travelstead and Truck Travelstead both of Carmi; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Martin.

Funeral Services for Nova Lee "Sherry" Blake, 51, of Carmi will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home on Monday after 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
