Norman Mallory

Norman Ray Mallory, 57, of Concord passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 8:29 a.m. at his residence. He was born April 3, 1955 in Danville, IL the son of David Paul and Lauretter (Owens) Mallory. Norman married Kathleen A. "Kathy" Vickers on March 27, 1979. He worked as a fiber optics engineer for various communications companies and was co-owner of Underground Services and Vanwar Communications.
Norman is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy of Concord; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Greg Heil of Concord; three grandchildren, Kirsten, Audrey and Nicholas Heil; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Paul Douglass of Browder, KY; and two brothers and sister-in-law, Paul G. Mallory and Roy Lee and Judy Mallory all of Greenville, KY.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mattie Lou and Sandra Dean.
Funeral services for Norman Ray Mallory, 57, of Concord will be Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Emma, IL. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
