Norma Healy, 80, of Norris City, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at 5:58 a.m. at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born in Grayville, Illinois on January 30, 1935, the daughter of Melvin Scott and Allene Mary (Bond) Broster. Norma married Ivan Kent Healy on May 7, 1955 and he preceded her in death on December 1, 1991. She was a member of Albion Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Farm Bureau.
Norma is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Diane Healy of Carmi, Doug and Melissa Healy of Norris City and Jeff and Susan Healy of St. Charles, MO; eight grandchildren Mark and Jennifer Healy, Adam, Ethan, Kristen, Jacob, Emily, Nathan and Lauren Healy; three great-grandchildren Adalyn, Aiden, and Myles Healy; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Jean Siegert of Grayville and Marge and Edward Steele of Naples, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Robert Broster.
Funeral services for Norma Healy, 80, of Norris City, will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Mike Fields officiating. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Saturday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be given to Wabash Christian Retirement Center Chapel fund and may be given at Campbell Funeral Home.
