Nancy Daly

Nancy C. Daly, age 72 of Mt. Vernon, IN died Sunday morning June 20, 2010 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh. She was born January 1, 1938 at Smith Mills, Ky the daughter of Rudy and Catherine (Mattingly) Utley. She married Robert J. Daly on May 7, 1954 at Mt. Vernon.


Nancy was a homemaker. She enjoyed her flower gardening and also loved to fish.


She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert J. and Eddie Daly of Henderson, KY and Richard and Lesta Mae Daly of Evansville; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Chad Vogel of Evansville; nine grandchildren, Dustin Daly and Christy Harrison, Latenna Daly, Michael and Steven Stinson, Tia Nickells, Kyle Daly, Casey and Rachael Daly; five great-grandchildren, Kyla Carpenter, Taylor and Abby Harrison, Lilly Nickells and Ayden Stinson; one brother, Jerry Utley; and one sister, Janice Weir of Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by one son David Wayne Daly, one granddaughter, Cassandra Daly, one great-grandson, Austin Snodgrass and one brother, Norris Utley.


Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday June 23, 2010 at the Austin~Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with funeral services beginning at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Tri-State M.S. Society. On-line condolences may be left at austinfuneralhome.com.
