Nancy Briscoe

Nancy J. Briscoe, 80, of Norris City passed away at 12:10 p.m., Monday, May 24, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.  She was born in Yuma, Arizona on June 30, 1940 the daughter of Denver Wayne and Mary Elizabeth (Durr) Joyce.  Nancy married David E. Briscoe on August 5, 1975.  She was a member of Plainview General Baptist Church, an avid reader, but her greatest joy was her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 45 years, David of Norris City; four children, Lori (Henry) Gross of Omaha, Doug (Lisa) Broadway of Tacoma, WA, Shanon (John) Zinzilieta of Benton and Tonya (Brent) Pearce of Norris City; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by four sons, Dale Wayne Broadway, Dion Patrick Broadway, Dale Allen Broadway and Allen Webb Broadway.

Funeral services for Nancy J. Briscoe, 80, of Norris City will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 28, 2021 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to White County Relay for Life and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
