Monty Caudell

Monty D. Caudell, 57 of Carmi, passed away Friday April 28, 2017 at his home. He was born June 16, 1959 in Olney, the son of Vern A. and Patricia (Cochran) Caudell. He was married to Daisy Murphy.
Monty had worked as an RN for many years and also as a Coal Miner at Kingsburgh Mine. He was an outdoorsman and loved mushroom hunting. He attended services at Wabash Heritage Apartments and also Trinity Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy; children Cassie White, Christina Adams, William Moore and Patrick Beuligmann; grandchildren, Jordan and Malec Caudell, James Whitfield, Haylei and Joseph Adams, Bryson and Jacob Moore; brother, Lester Caudell and sisters, Sarah Hostettler and Barbara Jenning. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Dena Applewhite, Tammy Gaudern, Cassie White and Connie Unfried.
Memorial services will be held for family and close friends on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Carmi. Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
