Mildred Anderson

Mildred M. (Lauderdale) Anderson, 76, of Wadesville, IN died at 9:15 AM, Friday, May 20, 2005 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was born July 21, 1928 in Stendal, IN, daughter of Hobert and Ruby (Cox) Lauderdale. She was a homemaker,loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mildred was a member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church in Wadesville, IN where she was church Secretary and a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Mildred was active with 4H and served as a leader. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Oliver Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Hobert, Jr.
Mildred is survived by her husband of 60 years in December, Donald Anderson of Wadesville, IN; a daughter, Karen Anderson of Wadesville, IN; a son, Michael Anderson and his wife Bridget of Wadesville, IN; 2 grandchildren, Katherine Anderson and Charles Anderson and his wife Kateri and her great-grandson, Chase Anderson; 2 step-grandchildren, David and Karen Debes.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, May 23, 2005 at Mt. Zion General Baptist Church near Wadesville, IN with Rev. Rick Sellers officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions can be made to The Mt. Zion General Baptist Church.
