Melba Lamp Williams

Melba Louann Lamp Williams, 84, of Norris City, passed away at 1:43 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Wabash Christian Village. She was born in Broughton, IL on October 26, 1932 the daughter of Sam Monroe and Elsie Vay (Johnson) Allen. Melba married Lindley Eugene Lamp November 5, 1948 and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2002. Later she married John Robert Williams on November 18, 2002. She was a homemaker.

Melba is survived by her husband, Bob Williams of Norris City; two sisters; Marjorie (Ezra) Millspaugh of Norris City and Joy Inboden of Mcleansboro, IL and a nephew, Rocky (Vicki) Inboden of Wilmington, DE. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Elsie Allen,  her first husband, Lindley Lamp, sons, Terry Vance and Terry Lynn Lamp, daughter, Rosalinda Lamp and two sisters, Verla Sue Allen and Irma Kathleen Mayberry.

Funeral services for Melba Louann Lamp Williams, 84, of Norris City will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Mt. Oval Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Melba's memory to Wabash Christian Village and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
