Mary Weigand

Mary Lee Weigand, 97 of St. Phillips, passed away Friday evening March 9, 2018 at Solarbron. She was born May 14, 1920 in Livermore, KY the daughter of Albert A.C. and Laura Lee (Whitaker) Lampkin. She married Adolph Weigand on May 18, 1940.

Mary Lee  had worked as a bus driver in the Mt. Vernon School District. She loved animals and especially her family and was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in St. Phillips

She is survived by her son, Darrell (Debbie) Weigand; daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Weigand; four grandchildren, Zach Weigand, Heidi Fraser, Sarah Swingley and Jill Muller; and ten great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph; her son, Glenn; grandson, Sean; and her sister, Wanda Bohleber.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at St. Pauls Cemetery in St. Phillps. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Monday March 12, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com.
