Mary Robb

Mary Margaret Robb, age 82 of Mt. Vernon, IN, died early Saturday morning February 20, 2010 at her home. She was born April 4, 1927 in Mt. Vernon the daughter of Wilbur F. and Daisy (Redman) Cochrum. She married John E. Robb and he preceded her in death in 1982.


Mrs. Robb had worked as a waitress and was a homemaker.


She is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny R. and Cheryl Robb, Larry E. and Jennifer Robb, Richard L. and Diana Robb, Dale E. Robb, William E and Jana Robb and Dennis W. and Jenny Robb; two daughters and son-in-law, Judy K. and Jerry Miller and Linda F. Williams; thirty two grandchildren, sixty one great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Wilma Lee Vandever. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Joni, Holly and Robin; and two brothers, George and Charles Gene Cochrum.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday February 23, 2010 at the Austin~Stendeback Family Funeral Home with Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Black Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services. Online condolences may be left at austinfuneralhome.com
