Mary Jane Pierce, 76 of Mount Vernon, passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at St. Marys Hospital in Evansville. She was born March 31, 1939 in Mount Vernon, the daughter of George and Elma (Majors) Cameron. She married Harold E. "Mousie" Pierce and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2004.
Mary Jane was a homemaker. She enjoyed her granddaughters, motorcycle riding, camping and Nascar. She had attended Bethsaida General Baptist Church and the Point Township Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Michael) Nurrenbern of Mt. Venron; granddaughters, Terra (Brad Johnson) Irvin and Niki (Mark) Vogel; great-grandchildren, Brinkley Nichole, Amiyah Grace, Aria Indiana and Axel Michael; brothers, Paul, Richard and Steve Cameron; sister, Betty Blockson. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Terry Lynn Pierce; brother, Bud Cameron and sisters, Annie Chamberlain, Phyllis Gross, Francie Hobson and Sue Cox.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday June 18, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mount Vernon with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
