Mary Murphy

Mary E. Murphy, 83, of Carmi, passed away on September 15, 2019 at Wabash Christian Village.  She was born on April 14, 1936 in Carmi, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Watson) Dow.  She married Jimmie J. Murphy and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Murphy was a CNA and had worked at Carmi Skilled Care and Wabash Christian Retirement Center.  She was a member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by sons, Jimmie, John (Cathy), and Mike (Kelly) Murphy and daughters, Kathy (Tom) Crego, Patricia Earl and Eileen Pollard; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
