Mary Jackson

Mary C. Jackson, age 67 of Carmi, passed away Thursday evening September 19, 2013 at Deaconess Hospice Care in Evansville surrounded by her family. She was born December 22, 1945 in Carmi, the daughter of William Anderson and Elsie Pearl (Bulla) Browning.

Mary met and married the love of her life, Charles R. Jackson on January 12, 1962.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years and 5 daughters, Jeannie (David) Miles of Evansville, Melody (Dwayne) Brown of Ramsey, Christie Donnel of Shelbyville, Julie (Jeff) Prater of Somerville, AL and Becky (Jeff) Wolfe of Crossville; 15 grandkids, Heather (Brandon) Meredith, Brittany, Megan and Mandy Miles, Charles Jackson, Chris (Cassidie) Brown, Brandi Brown, Austin and Levi Perry, Ashley and Abby Donnel, Jessica and Janessa Prater, Jon Andrew and Shelby Lees; 4 great-grandkids, Stevi Dotzert, Brylie Meredith, Dakota Brown and Ella Bramel; a brother, Jim (Linda) Browning of Crossville; sisters, Shirley Turner of Chicago, Alice (Tom) Kick of Evansville, Cathy (Rob) Faulker of Arkansas and Cindy Cochrom of Buckner and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Don Page.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday September 23, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Chris Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery.
