Mary Holt, 96, of Carmi passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. She was born November 1, 1918 in Crossville, IL, the daughter of Clyde and Jennie Rawlinson. Mary married Manley Blue Holt on February 19, 1939 and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Carmi. Mary was an avid bridge player and active in the Home Culture Circle and White County Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Mike Voss of Portland, OR; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Deborah Holt of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren, Michael Minnotte, Daniel Holt, Andrew Holt and Abigail Allen; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Royal and Robert Rawlinson.
Funeral services for Mary Holt, 96, of Carmi, will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Carmi with Revs. Nate Mochizuki and Elizabeth Moses officiating. Burial will be in Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Crossville. Friends may call on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
