Mary Cooper

Mary Alice Cooper, 79 of Mt. Vernon, died Saturday morning March 1, 2014 at her home. She was born January 13, 1935 at Bedford, IN, the daughter of Roy and Beulah Mae (Brown) Crane.

Mary had worked as a cook for 21 years at the MerryGo Round Restaurant in Evansville.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Cooper of Mt. Vernon; 1 daughter Debbie Cooper of Mt. Vernon; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, David and Dale Crane of Salem, IN and 1 sister, Barbara Lee of St. Charles, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Virginia Shoults.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
