Mary "Aunt" Agnes Biggerstaff, 97, of Omaha passed away at 5:00 a.m., Monday, January 1, 2018 at her residence.  She was born February 3, 1920 in Gossett, IL the daughter of Andrew M. "Pop" and Mattie (Tarrant) Cusic.  Agnes married the Rev. Robert A. Biggerstaff on July 16, 1937 and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2005.  She served along side her husband for 65 years as he pastor various churches in southern Illinois and Indiana.  Agnes was a spiritual mother to hundreds of children over the years.  She was a member of New Hope General Baptist Church in Ridgway.

Aunt Agnes is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Rev. Roy and Debbie Biggerstaff of Omaha and their children, Robert A. "Andy" (Cindy) Biggerstaff, Amy (Eddie) Ratgen and Josh (Andrea) Biggerstaff; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her cat, Shadow.

Funeral services for Mary "Aunt" Agnes, 97, of Omaha will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Mt. Oval Cemetery in Norris City.  Visitation will be on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Campbell Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Agnes' memory to Camp Oxford c/o Rich Rister, 95 Salem Rd., Harrisburg, IL 62946 or Hospice of Southern Illinois, 204 Halfway Rd., Marion, IL 62959 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
