Marvin Hunt

Marvin Eugene Hunt, 63 of Evansville, IN died Thursday morning, April 24, 2014 at his home.

He was born on January 8, 1951 in Litchfield, IL, the son of Marvin L. and Dorothy (Rentz) Hunt. He married Mary Jane Carter on September 11, 1982 in Jacksonville, IL and she survives.

Mr. Hunt was a retired Funeral Director, having worked at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, IL and Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL. After moving to Evansville, he had worked as a security guard at Bristol Myers in Mt. Vernon, IN. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church in Evansville.

In addition to his wife, Mary Jane, he is survived by his mother, Dorothy Hunt of Litchfield, IL; son, Dan Hunt & fiance, Lindsey Davis of Evansville; four grandchildren, Alexis, Aidan, Parker & Piersin Hunt; brothers, Matt Hunt of Peoria & Mark Hunt of Litchfield; sisters, Marsha Gruber of Springfield, IL & Marilyn Baker of Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by his father.

No funeral services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
