Marty Mathews

Marty Mathews 57 of Enfield, passed away Tuesday November 20, 2018 at his home. He was born November 25, 1960 in Paris, IL the son of William James and Shelby Jean (Lewis) Mathews.

Marty was preceded in death by his mother Shelby Jean Mathews and father William James Mathews his grandparents uncle and a special cousin Todd Lewis also a nephew he was fond of Jake Elegreet and Benjamin Sauls.

Marty leaves behind his longtime companion, Pat Sauls of Enfield and her children and grandchildren, Darrin (Kendra) Sauls, Rashel (Quentin) Farris, Yrueben, Dylan and Cale; two sisters he loved dearly, Vicky Elegreet from Wisconsin; and his baby sister Roxana (Dennis) Heinlein, best friends all of their lives; he also leaves behind four nieces Alyssa, Brittany, Amanda and husband Michael; along with their children Ayla and Will; and his special niece Lindsay along with fiancé Tyler. Marty was a huge part of our lives and he will be deeply missed RIP my dear brother. We will always carry him in our hearts. We will miss his sense of humor. Marty loved his dog, Scooter and also loved to hunt and fish, and loved the outdoors riding his gator.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until services.
