Mark Burnett

Mark Burnett, 43, of Mt. Vernon, died, Sunday, August 28, 2005 of a heart attack. Mark was born November 1, 1961 in Evansville, IN son of Walter Glenn and Ruby (Rigdon) Burnett. He worked at BWX Technologies in Mt. Vernon. Mark loved to fish and camp. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert E. Burnett, and a half sister, Sue Adams.
Mark is survived by his wife, Diana L. Burnett of Mt. Vernon; his daughter, Nicole Burnett of Mt. Vernon; his sister Lori Burnett of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Dennis Burnett of Evansville, IN; a half brother, Russell Burnett of Phillipstown, IL; 2 grandchildren, Robert Darr and Trayven Burnett, several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 PM at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth Street in Mt. Vernon, IN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday at Austin Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society.
