Marjorie Alldredge

Marjorie K. Alldredge, 92 of Mt. Vernon, died Thursday morning, September 5, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville. She was born on September 3, 1921 in Kibbie, MI, the daughter of Lewis and Jane (Young) Alvey. She married Ivan Alldredge on October 14, 1943 in Savah, IN and he survives.

Mrs. Alldredge was a homemaker and attended Mt. Vernon General Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Becky & Gary Stallings of Mt. Vernon, Mary & Glenn Sailer of New Harmony and Martha & Donald Chanley of Corydon; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a half-sister, Pauline Lester.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
