Marie Burns

Marie Burns, 86, of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Holiday Village in Evansville. She was born March 27, 1928 in Ardmore, OK the daughter of David Nathan and Leta Mae (Logan) Wilson. Marie was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Evansville and had work as a secretary for Sohio Pipeline and General Oil Field Supply.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Shirley Brown of Evansville, IN; a sister, Leta Jo Baker of Ardmore, OK; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Stephen Wayne Brown.

Graveside funeral services and burial for Marie Burns, 86, of Evansville will be at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Kuykendall Cemetery in Carmi. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
