Margaret Bradley

Margaret Caroline Bradley, age 91 of Mt. Vernon, died Wednesday afternoon April 2, 2008 at the Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehab Center in Mt. Vernon, IN. She was born April 21, 1916 in Tell City, IN. She was married to Melburn J. Bradley on May 13, 1936.

Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Royal Neighbors Club and the Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Garland “Doc” and Donna Rae Bradley of Mt. Vernon and Jim D. and Donna Lee Bradley of Mt. Vernon; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Bradley of Mt. Vernon; twenty grandchildren, seventeen great-grand-children and five great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Melburn; one son Darwin Bradley; two brothers, William and Clarence Quick and one sister, Kathleen Phelps.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday April 5, 2008 at the Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery at Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Mt.
