Margaret Bohleber

Margaret E. Bohleber, 98, of Carmi passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at 6:50 p.m. at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born September 23, 1913 in White County, IL the daughter of William Carter and Daisy Mae (Weirauch) Gowdy. Margaret married Eldon Augustus Bohleber and he preceded him in death on December 24, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
Margaret is survived by a granddaughter, Stephanie Jane Stotts; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Helen Gowdy of Carmi and John and Irene Gowdy of Carrier Mills, IL; a son-in-law, Richard R. Stotts of Mt. Sterling, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Eldra Jeannie Stotts on January 11, 2000; a sister, Leona McMullen; and three brothers, Clinton, Robert and Charles Gowdy.
Funeral Services for Margaret E. Bohleber, 98, of Carmi will be Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with the Rev. Gene Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in the White County Memorial Garden in Carmi. Friends may call at the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi on Thursday, after 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00.
