Mae Goodman

Mae Goodman, age 76 of Mt. Vernon, died Monday morning February 28, 2011 at Deaconess Hospital. She was born June 20, 1934 in Russellville, KY the daughter of Clyde and Clara (Henson) Shoemake. She married Charles Goodman.


Mrs. Goodman had worked as a home health care provider.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Thomas Goodman.
She is survived by 3 sons, Danny (Becky) Ward of Evansville, William (Paula) Snelling, and Gary (Lisa) Snelling of Mt. Vernon; 2 daughters, Peggy Spillman of Liberty, KY and Sue Woolsey of Mt. Vernon. 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday March 3, 2011 at the Austin~Stendeback Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till service time.
