Lucille Wilson, 92, of Norris City, passed away at 1:10 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. She was born in Hamilton County, IL on March 5, 1925 the daughter of Sherman and Pearl Mae (Douglas) Howard. Lucille married John M. Wilson on October 13, 1944 and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2008. She retired from the Ainsbrooks Garment Factory and was a farm wife.
Lucille is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Aud, of Norris City; brother, John "Tommy" (Emily Dean) Howard, of Lawrenceville; sister, Linda (Gene) Ellison, of Norris City; two grandchildren, Stephanie Schenkel and Stephen Aud; three great-grandchildren, Ryan and Makayla Schenkel and Logan John Aud and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Everett and Eddie Howard, sister, Louis Spence and two sister-in-laws, Nancy and Icia Howard,
Funeral services for Lucille Wilson, 92, of Norris City, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Plainview General Baptist Church in Norris City. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Memorial contributions may be made in Lucille's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or to Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City to assist with funeral expenses.
