Louise Noelle

March 1, 1921 — March 22, 2017

Louise Noelle passed away peacefully in the early evening hours of March 22, 2017, in Noblesville,
Indiana, where she had resided for the past two years.  Louise celebrated her 96th birthday on March 1st.

Louise was the daughter of Roscoe and Helena Ruminer.  She had three sisters  (Venita, Arlene, and
Angela) and a brother (Tony).  She was married to Al Noelle.  All of these beloved family members have
passed away.

Louise and Al lived, worked and raised children in Posey County, residing most of their years in their home
on West Lincoln Avenue in Mount Vernon.  Louise and Al were grateful to have good friends for neighbors.

Louise valued her family and friends,  Throughout her life she loved reading and talking with others about
books and ideas.  She had lifelong interests in family genealogy and local history, religion and spirituality,
psychology and human behavior.  These interests led her to be involved with various community groups,
including the Mount Vernon Public Library, the Posey/Vanderburg Regional Mental Health Center, DAR,
St. Matthew's Catholic Church, and the New Harmony Women's Center.

Louise was not fortunate enough to have daughters.  In part because of this, she seemed to especially
value her sisters and many of her female friends. These women enriched her life. She is survived by
two special women, Jan Noelle (of Noblesville) and Joyce Noelle (of Evansville).

Louise is fondly remembered by grandson Joshua Noelle and his family (wife, Stacey and daughters, Abigail
and Amelia).  She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.

Louise and Al have two sons who lovingly remember and miss their parents:  Toby (of Noblesville) and
Tony (of Wadesville).

The family will meet friends from 3-5 p.m. on Friday April 28, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St. Mt. Vernon, IN. Memorials are suggested to the Posey County Foundation or the Friends of the Alexandrian Public Library, and can be made at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
