Loretta White Pollard

      Loretta White Pollard, 91, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi. She was born on March 2, 1932, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Donia (Hayes) Duvall. She married William Lee White on September 8, 1956, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 1985. Loretta later married Robert Pollard on June 19, 1999, and he preceded her in death on December 1, 2020, She attended New Beginning Church of God in Carmi.

     Loretta is survived by her daughters, Kay (Bob) Brockett of Carmi, IL, and Susan (John) Seitz of South Haven, MI; two grandchildren, Johnna (Nick) Bither, and Mandy Simpson; one great-grandchild, Emma Lee Bither; siblings, Wilkey Duvall of Galatia, IL, Gus Duvall of Enfield, IL, and Helen Davis of Chicago, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, William White and Robert Pollard, Loretta is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Bobby Duvall, Elmer Duvall, Frank Duvall, Edna McCluskey, and Pauline Duvall.

    A private burial will be held for Loretta White Pollard in Enfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wabash Christian Village Memory Care Unit, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements
