Loretta Marler

Loretta Jean Marler, 75 of Carmi, passed away at 11:56 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2019, at her residence. She was born in Mt. Carmel, IL on September  25, 1943 the daughter of Frank J. and Evelyn ( Siebert) Latham. She married Charles Richard Marler on December 24, 1962 and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2018. Loretta graduated from Mt. Carmel High School and was a housewife.

Loretta is survived by two sons, Terry Marler of Carmi and Richard (Debbie) Marler of Eldorado; three brothers, Dick (Doris) Latham, of Ava, IL, Bob (Sally) Latham, of Sandwich, IL and Kevin Latham, of Mt. Carmel; special best friend, Dona (Bob) Spence; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Stacy Edward Marler, daughter, Nevalene Evelyn Marler and a brother, Ray Latham.

Funeral service for Loretta Jean Marler, 75, of Carmi, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Keith Moore officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery in Lancaster, IL.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made in Loretta's memory to the Enfield Masonic Lodge and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
