Loraine Dale, 92, of Norris City passed away at 9:27 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her son's home. She was born July 29, 1923 in Henderson, KY the daughter of Bernard and Melissa (Griffin) Hagan. Loraine married Douglas T. Dale on April 1, 1944 and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2001. In 1964, she alongside her husband, started and operated Doug's Convenience Store. Loraine was a member of the Norris City United Methodist Church and the Norris City American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter and son-law, Rebecca and Jerry Wheeler of Norris City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Sue Dale and David and Candi Dale all of Norris City; seven grandchildren, Scott Dale, Melissa Dale, Nathan Green and wife Ali, Jillian Spence and husband Chris, Ashley Mitchell and husband Robbie, Dustin Dale and wife Danielle and Destiny Howell and husband Ron; 11 great grandchildren, Taylor, Bobby, Tyler, Lane, Olivia, Jackson, Landry, Braden, Riley, Kennedy and DeLanie; one great-great grandson, Alex; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Loraine Dale, 92, of Norris City will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
