Lolene Reeves

Lolene Reeves, 89 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Wednesday November 25, 2015 at the Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 5, 1926 in Karber Ridge, IL, the daughter of James and Juanita (Beckham) Baker. She married Robert Reeves and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Lolene had worked at Exlin Factory in Mt. Vernon and for Charles Lawrence Homes.

She is survived by her son, James (Carolyn) Reeves of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Hondo (Rhonda) Barnes, Cheryl Reeves (Troy), Shane (Teri) Barnes, Jim (Alicia) Reeves, Jason (Daneille) Barnes, Blair Reeves (Tristie), Alicia (Adam) Effinger; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Bill Reeves and her daughter, Kathy Reeves Barnes.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday November 28, 2015 at Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven with Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
