Lola Cozart

Lola Florence Cozart, 84, of Newburgh, IN and formerly of Carmi, passed away at 11:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born June 4, 1933 in Carmi, IL the daughter of Arvil and Alliebelle (Brewer) Emery. Lola was a housewife and a member of the First Christian Church in Carmi. She loved reading her bible, watching sports, listening to music and watching John Wayne and classic movies.
She is survived by three sons, Rod (Cathy) Cozart, Jeff (Tracey) Cozart both of Newburgh, IN and Doug (Kelly) Cozart, of Evansville, IN; brother, John Emery, of Carmi; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvil and Alliebelle Emery and two brothers, Louis and Jack Edward Emery.
Funeral services for Lola Florence Cozart, 84, of Newburgh and formerly of Carmi, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Lola's memory to SMILE on Down Syndrome, Po Box 994, Newburgh, IN, 47630 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
