Lisa Browning

Lisa Ann Browning, 57. of Carmi, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Carmi Manor Nursing and Rehabilitaion. She was born on March 13, 1964, the daughter of Kenneth Wayne and Virginia Sue (Taylor) Holland.  Lisa married Charles C. Browning in 1980. Throughout the years she worked as a manager at  Save-A-Lot grocery store in Carmi and later worked at Huck's.  Lisa enjoyed camping and spending time with family.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Charles Browning of Carmi, IL.; her children, Tabitha Swango of Carmi, IL., Amber Browning of Lawrenceville, IL. and Levi (Tiffany) Browning of Carmi, IL.; her siblings, Teresa Holland of Carmi, IL. Kim (Bobby) Bincsik of Carmi, IL.,  Chris (Connie) Holland of Carmi, IL.,  Ralph (Connie ) Holland of Arkansas and Michelle Hull of Indiana; seven grandkids, Nicolette Browning, Kileigh Swango, Dave-onta Tuck, Devon Tuck, Dreydon Tuck,  Zayden Browning, and Reneelynn Browning;  three great-grandchildren; Jayelah Puckett, Kannen Puckett and Briar Fancher; and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wayne Holland; her step-father, Maurice "Mouse" Frazier and her mother-in-law, Shirley Crawford.

Funeral services for Lisa Browning, will be held on Tuesday July 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi. Family and friends can visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time.  Contributions can be made in Lisa's name to Stendeback Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
