Lindell Hoy

Lindell Hoy, 74, of Norris City passed away at 8:42 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1940 in Herald, IL the son of Walter Wayne and Juanita B. (Catlin) Hoy. Lindell married Janice L. Pulliam on March 3, 1962. Lindell was a building contractor, an oil producer and also served as Norris City Mayor for 8 years. He was a member and deacon at Springerton Christian Church.

Lindell is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jan; two daughter's and sons-in-law, Robin and Mark Becker of Springerton and Kristina and Michael Neale of Evansville, IN; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Heidi Hoy of Carmi; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Jim Redman of Carmi; a brother, Dean Hoy of Carmi; and six grandchildren, Jordan Kyle Scott, Shea Ellison, Logan Ellison, Mathilde Hoy, Branden Hoy and Rachel Neale.

Funeral Services for Lindell Hoy, 74, of Norris City will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden in Carmi. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Lindell's memory to Wabash Christian Retirement Center Chapel and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
