Linda Rider

     Linda June Rider, better known as Momma or Mama, of Norris City, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Evansville, Indiana at the age of 72.  She was  born in Centralia, IL on May 10, 1951.

     Linda was  preceded in death by her soulmate, loving husband, Joseph F. Rider, her momma, her dad, two brothers and several other loving family member including babies of her own.  She is survived by seven siblings, three children and their loved ones including several  grandchildren and great-grandchildren that were her world.  She had her own nickname for each of them.

    Linda was a very giving soul, that could make anyone smile. She never met a stranger. Linda loved to cook and bake and spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed by so many as we know she touched everyone she met,

     Services for Linda June Rider, 72, of Norris City will be private.  The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St.., Carmi, IL 62821 to assist with expenses.  Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is assisting the family with arrangements.
