LInda Loehr

Linda R. Loehr, 64, of Mt. Vernon, died Saturday morning, September 26, 2009 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville. She was born on May 30, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Tom and Ruth (Duley) Sharp. She married Stephen C. Loehr on April 21, 1963 in Omaha, IL and he survives.


Mrs. Loehr worked 10 years at Kent Plastics then at GE for 25 years before her retirement.


She is survived by her husband, Steve; one daughter, Stephanie Lynn Loehr of Evansville; one granddaughter, Amber Bone of Evansville; and one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Connie Sharp of Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents.


Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday September 29, 2009 at the Austin-Stendeback Family Funeral Home, 1330 E. 4th Street, Mt. Vernon.
