Linda Glidden

Linda Ann (Silliman) Glidden, 76, of Waterford, VA passed away at 4:04 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016 at Enfield Healthcare in Enfield, IL. She was born June 19, 1940 in Alexandria, VA the daughter of Houston D. and Jamie L. (Lowery) Silliman. Linda married Timothy Glidden and he survives. She was a school teacher in Waterford, VA and had served as the Executive Director of the Waterford Foundation and the Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, VA.
Linda is survived by her husband, Timothy of Waterford, VA; two daughters, Adrienne and Paige Cox of Arlington and Waterford, VA; a brother, John H. Silliman of Carmi; and four grandchildren, Cole and Carson Praver and Luke and Elisa Stup.
Graveside memorial services for Linda Ann (Silliman) Glidden, 76, of Waterford, VA will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at West Union Cemetery near Carmi. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
