Linda Denning

Linda Denning, 64, of Mt. Vernon, IN died, 12:41 pm, Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville from injuries sustained in a farming accident. Linda was born November 14, 1941 in Vincennes, IN, daughter of Glen and Evelyn (Stoltz) Gilmore. She was a graduate of the Deaconess School of Nursing and had been a Registered Nurse with Deaconess Hospital and Medco Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon. For the last several years she has been a mother, housewife and loving grandmother. Linda was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon.

She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Denning of Mt. Vernon; her daughter, Kim Krieger and her husband Brian of Mt. Vernon; sons, Jeff Denning and his wife Johnna of Mt. Vernon and Brian Denning and his wife Melanie of Evansville, IN; her brother, Keith Gilmore and his wife Susan of Orleans, IN; her grandchildren, Rachel & Kyle Krieger, Hank, Lily, Paige, Kurt and Trent Denning; Sister in Law, Pauline Jourdan and her husband Bob of Mt. Vernon, and brother in law, Frank Denning and his wife Pauline of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held 9:00 am, Friday, October 27, 2006 at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth Street, Mt. Vernon, IN continuing at 9:30 am at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 421 Mulberry Street, Mt.Vernon, IN with burial in St. Matthew’s Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday at Austin Funeral Home where a Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 pm.
