Linda G. Browning, 69 of Crossville, passed away Thursday July 20, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. She was born March 8, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, IN the daughter of Harvey and Mary (Weir) Niehaus. She married James T. Browning on May 7, 1965 in Carmi.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, fishing and her grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Lea (Tenille Neal) Browning, James W. (Angie) Browning, Beverly Collins; 8 grandchildren Adam Cessna, Matt Cessna, Kendall Cessna, Brandon Browning, Haydyn Browning, Eric Scheiver, Shawna Browning and Quinton Browning, and 9 great-grandchildren, her mother, Mary Niehaus; brothers, Dennis, Herbert (Shirley), Steven, Brian and Dino Niehaus; sisters, Diane Peveto, Denise (Michael) Miller, Susan (Jason) Authement, Terri Niehaus and Sherri Davidson, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey, Niehaus, husband, James Browning, brothers, Jerry, Lester and David; sister, Carolyn Harris and son-in-law, Harvey Collins
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday July 24, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services.
