Lilleen Bingman

Lilleen Bingman, 91, of Carmi, passed away on August 3, 2016 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center. She was born on November 4, 1924 in Haynseville, LA, the daughter of James L. and Minnie Lucille (Crain) McElroy. She married Kenneth R. “Tubby” Bingman on August 12, 1944 in Carmi and he preceded her in death on December 15, 2015.
Mrs. Bingman was a homemaker. She was a member of the Carmi First Christian Church.
She is survived by sons, Ryan (Connie) Bingman of Carmi and Greg Bingman of Covington, KY; granddaughter, Ashton Bingman of Covington, KY; great-grandchildren, Cal Bingman, and Rene (Tim) Hardy, all of Carmi; great-great-grandson, Tyson Hardy; brother, James L. (Jean) McElroy of Carterville. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Michelle Holbert and sisters, Louise “Sweetie” Lee and Elizabeth “Tiny” Goodwin.Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi.
