Len Barbre

Len Barbre, 60, of Carmi passed away at 6:00 a.m., Saturday, July 4, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was born December 27, 1954 in Carmi the son of P.K. and Elizabeth M. Barbre. Len married Shirley J. Coffey on May 23, 2014. He had worked as a farmer and a truck driver for ITS. Len loved animals,especially his dogs, Ship and Dexter.

Len is survived by his wife, Shirley of Carmi; a daughter, Rae Lynn Barbre of Carmi; his mother, Elizabeth "Liz" Barbre of Carmi; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Brenda Barbre and Mike and Rosina Barbre all of Carmi; two nieces, Tracy Maricle and Kayci Large; a nephew, Ronnie Keith Barbre; a great-niece, Akilah Large; three great-nephews, Tanner and Treyson Maricle and Kipton Large; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly and Mike Blair of Rosiclare, IL and Shana and Josh Knight of Carmi; a step-daughter-in-law, Amber Farris and five step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, P.K. Barbre on November 19, 1999, a brother, Bobby Gene Barbre a nephew, Kelly Gene Barbre and a step-son, Shane Farris.

Funeral services for Len Barbre, 60, of Carmi will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Mike Buckman officiating. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden in Carmi. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Len's memory to Rileys Childrens Hospital and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
