Lawana Bartley

Lawana Bartley, 57, of Carmi, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Doctors Nursing and Rehab in Salem, IL. She was born September 18, 1954, the daughter of Leonard and Leoda Parker. She married Merle B. Bartley and he preceded her in death June 5, 2011. Lawana was a certified nurses aide.
She is survived by her mother, Leoda McWhirter of Evansville, IN; a son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Sally Ann Bartley of Carmi; four sisters, Angie, Daisy, Sandy and Lisa; four brothers, Jaime, Jeff, Terry Lee and Tony; and three grandchildren, Cody Andrew, Christine Michelle and Brett Andrew Bartley.
Lawana was preceded in death by her father; her husband; and a brother, Mike Denson.
Funeral services will be private. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
