Biography
Larry L. Hart, 76 of Enfield, passed away Saturday evening January 31, 2015 at his home. He was born October 27, 1938 at Brownsville, the son of Glendel “Poppy” and Frances Elaine (Miller) Hart.
Larry was a retired Contract Oil Well Pumper for 50 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion, the Enfield Sportsmans Club, the Masonic Lodge and the Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Christoper Tapp Hart of Johnson City and Larry “Doodle” (Jenny “Sis”) Hart of Enfield; one daughter, Shannon (Ron) Ellison of Omaha; three grandchildren, Cody and Jasper Hart and Sarah Ellison; two brothers, Stanly Hart of Enfield and Roger Hart of Duncan, OK; three sisters, Dana Smith, Jeanie Palmiter and Ruthie Hart all of Enfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Myra Stevens and companion, Brenda Dunn.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Enfield Cemetery with Rev. John Gunter officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
