Kenneth Minder, 64, of Norris City, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on December 18, 1950 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of William Carl and Chilish (Wilson) Minder. Kenneth was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Minder Cabinet and Construction for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post #109, a member and past president of the Norris City Lions Club and of the Christian faith.
Kenneth is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kara and Justin Ingram of Norris City and Jessica and Jordan Klostermann of Poseyville, IN; three grandchildren, Camden and Collin Ingram and Jaxon Klostermann; three sisters, Mary Toms, Linda White and Maggie Harmon; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Rose Minder and Debra Russell; and three brothers, William "Bill", John and Butch Minder.
Funeral services for Kenneth Minder, 64, of Norris City, will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery in Norris City with Military Rites by the Carmi VFW and American Legion. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
