Kenneth Holland

June 25, 1944 — April 10, 2017

Kenneth W. “Chad” Holland, 72 of Carmi, passed away Monday April 10, 2017 at his home. He was born June 25, 1944 in McLeansboro, the son of Charles and Pearl (Russell) Holland. He first married Sue Frazier and later married Wanda Churchwell.

Chad had worked for the Railroad, Oil Field, and the Frontier Kemper Mine and at last worked at O’Daniel Trucking. He was a member of the Sons of the Legion and V.F.W. He attended Trinity Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his children, Ralph (Connie) Holland, Chris (Connie) Holland, Lisa (Charles) Browning, Teresa Holland, Kimberly (Bobby) Bincsik, Steve (Lorna) Seibers, Jamie Youngman, Angie Bartley, Barbara South and Patricia Warrner; brother, James “Jimbo” Holland and sister, Elma Seketa; 42 Grandchildren, 43 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; son, Gary Wayne Holland; daughter, Tonya Smith; brother, Paulie Holland, sisters, Mary Taylor, Ruby Sheahan and Elizabeth Rose; and son-in-law, Anthony Hamblin.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday April 13, 2017 at the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Carmi with Pastor Lee Hicks officiating. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
